What People Are Saying about Twig & Branch *

Parents come to Twig & Branch Parenting for gentle, respectful support during the infant and toddler years. These reviews reflect families’ experiences with parent coaching, playgroups, and early childhood guidance rooted in mindfulness and relationship-based care.

“We are on our third playgroup session with Emma and they've been a highlight of early parenthood. It is so incredibly fun to watch my kid socialize, grow, and play in a safe, supportive space. I quote Emma's insightful newsletters and follow-up emails consistently. It's rare for an activity to be as enriching for the baby as it is for her parents and this definitely delivers on both. I am so grateful to Emma for fostering this thoughtful, kind, and empathetic environment.”

-Marina, playgroup parent, Portland

“Joining this playgroup has been one of the best things I've done post partum. Emma has created a wonderful, compassionate space. My baby was able to explore and be social in a warm and welcoming environment. He loved attending class. Each week, we picked up something new on how to support and care for our baby. It is so nice talking to other parents who are in similar places in their baby's development. Highly recommend.”

-Kendall, Portland playgroup parent

“The weekly playgroup was — without a doubt — the highlight of my maternity leave! You may not think a pre-mobile infant would have much to gain from a playgroup, but we found just the opposite. It was a wonderful time to connect with other parents and notice how our babies changed and grew each week (often witnessing beautiful, nuanced skill development!). Emma is an amazing facilitator with so much knowledge and compassion. Highly recommend!”

-Cassie, first time parent

“I absolutely love the non-judgmental and mindful space that Emma has created with Twig and Branch Parenting. As a new mom, this playgroup has truly helped me build confidence in my parenting journey. Each week, I’ve taken away something new—whether it’s helpful sleep strategies, great resources for starting solids, or just thoughtful insights from Emma and the other parents. I’ve loved watching my daughter grow in her social and motor skills while also learning how to be more observant of her world. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already signed up for the next round! Highly recommend to any parent looking for community, learning, and connection.”

-Taylor, first time parent

“As someone who loves new information and frameworks to help my parenting but hates wading through useless content, Emma's thoughtful curation was invaluable. She's a wealth of knowledge who adapts her philosophy to each family—it's not one-size-fits-all. Talking through her feedback led to a really aligned conversation between my partner and me, and we've already been able to respond to our daughter in more productive ways, which feels great.

Beyond the practical strategies, Emma gave me a great sense of calm about what I can change and effect versus what I can't and what is a normal part of child development. If you want expert guidance without reading a dozen parenting books, scheduling time with Emma is a great use of your time and money.”

-Keeley, parent of three, coaching client

“Playgroups with Emma were / are the highlight of our week! Emma creates a welcoming and comfortable space to connect with your little one and with people that are in the same chapter of life. Each week we were met with compassion and understanding of our experience and left feeling supported and encouraged in our parenting journey. We’re looking forward to starting the next round of playgroups soon!!”

-Heather, playgroup parent, parent of an infant

“These playgroups have been absolutely life-saving for me, from early postpartum through early toddlerhood. I am so grateful for the warm, welcoming, non-judgmental space to connect with other likeminded parents, experience my daughter interacting with other kids and get guidance from an expert. I have learned so much about parenting, myself, and my daughter from this space and from Emma. When she doesn't have an answer she has a resource for you. She makes me feel more confident and grounded as a parent. It's also really amazing to have been in these groups for over a year and to see the connection Emma creates and maintains with the kids as well as the parents. Without these groups I think my postpartum experience would have been significantly more isolating. I cannot recommend joining them or doing coaching with Emma enough!

-Naomi, toddler parent

“We just signed up for our 4th playgroup session. I tell everyone it is the best postpartum investment we have made. Emma and the community she creates have met me at every stage of motherhood so far with such warmth and understanding. Her soft guidance has been invaluable. My son LOVES our weekly playgroup. It’s heartwarming to watch sweet friendships blossom in this baby/toddler-centered space.”
